Greetings & welcome!
I'm an interdisciplinary researcher and educator with 16 years of teaching experience in K-12 and higher education. I currently serve as the Faculty Scholar for San Diego State University's Native Resource Center and Center for Intercultural Relations. I'm also a lecturer for the department of American Indian Studies at SDSU.
My body of work focuses on integrating more nuanced and disruptive ways to think about Latinidad & Indigenous racial, cultural, and linguistic variability within K-12 curriculum & higher education initiatives. I also integrate music and movement into my scholarly and community-based work as a DJ and dancer.
